November 2012

Dear University Park Neighbor,

Thank you to all that attended the UPCC General meeting in October. It was nice to see some new faces as well as familiar ones. I think we all enjoyed hearing about the development plans of various places throughout our neighborhood. There will be notes from the meeting in the next issue of the UPCC UPWords.

Over the past six years of my volunteering with the UPCC, I have been spearheading our two annual events: Sing and Sleigh Bells in December and the July 4th Parade. Both these events provide fun for the entire neighborhood and 100s of neighbors attend. After six years of organizing these events, it is time for a passing of the torch. I am hoping someone reading this email might be the person to take the torch. If you love University Park and you want to give a little back, please email me at [email protected] to talk about helping with these great events.
