Come celebrate July 4th near Observatory Park. You will find all the neighborhood kids riding on patriotically decorated bikes in a parade along Warren Street between Milwaukee and Filmore, the VFW Band will be on hand to make the day all the more festive and following the parade, Denver Fire Station 24 brings over a pumper truck to help beat the heat and hose down the crowd. The University Park Mothers Club will be providing refreshments, hot dogs and cool treats.
All kids and families are welcome and the event is free.
Parade starts at 10am and pumper truck spray follows. Don’t forget your beach towels to have after you cool off in the water spray!
